§ 2. Your rights when using the website
You have the following rights:
- in accordance with Article 16 of the GDPR, the right to demand the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data stored by us;
- in accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR, the right to demand the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims;
- in accordance with Article 7 (3) of the GDPR, the right to revoke your consent to processing at any time. This has the consequence that we may no longer continue data processing based on this consent in the future. For the provision of digital learning content we use the learning platform efront of the company Epignosis UK Ltd, 239 First Floor, Kensington High Street, London Great Britain, W8 6SN.
The following data is processed for registration, contract conclusion and within the scope of the learning platform:
- First name
- Surname
- Login name
- E-mail address
- Learning history (completed courses, participation in events, feedback, certifications achieved)
Epignosis UK Ltd. may access your data in support situations.
Your data is hosted exclusively in Germany by the following external data centre service provider:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) - storage location is the EU (Frankfurt am Main, eu-central-1).
A data processing agreement has been concluded with the European Amazon subsidiary. However, we cannot rule out the possibility that the Amazon parent company based in the USA may access your data. AWS has contractually undertaken to ensure compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU in accordance with the EU standard contractual clauses. Amazon sufficiently guarantees that they implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure processing in compliance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and the protection of the rights of the person concerned.
Amazon is certified according to ISO 27001 (technology), ISO 27017 (cloud security) and ISO 27018 (cloud data protection). In addition, Amazon is certified according to the Cloud Computing Compliance Controls Catalog (C5) of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).

We would like to point out that the USA is not a safe third country in the sense of EU data protection law. US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you as a concerned person being able to take legal action against this. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that authorities in the USA may process, evaluate and permanently store your data on the servers operated for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.
Furthermore, the data will not be passed on to third parties, either in full or in part. There is no comparison with other data.
Integration of Bunny CDN
To secure this website and optimise loading times, Bunny CDN is used as a CDN ("Content Delivery Network"). Therefore, all requests are directed to their server. All personal data is anonymised and not transmitted to third parties. Bunny CDN is used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f of the GDPR.
We have concluded an order processing agreement with Bunny CDN and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Bunny CDN.
§ 6 Obligation to provide data
There is no legal obligation to provide data. However, you cannot use some functions of our website without providing personal data.
§ 7 Existence of automated decision-making including profiling
No such procedure is used.
§ 8 Changes to the data protection declaration
Due to the further development of our website and offers on it or due to changed legal or official requirements, it may become necessary to change this data protection declaration. In case of any discrepancies between the original German and the English version the original German version prevails.
