Alternative quenching and insulating gases “Ready for use”

As part of our "DILO Certified Gas" range of services, we can also supply on request ready-prepared mixtures of Alternative Insulating Gases in liquid or gaseous form exactly in accordance with your specifications - including a DILO quality certificate. We prepare gas mixtures on the basis of  C4-FN, but we also supply other insulating gas mixtures - exactly according to your requirements.

Therefore, the individual gas components must not be transported and mixing of the gas on site is not necessary. The result is: high accuracy of the required gas mixtures as well as time and cost savings and thus higher operating efficiency.

Gas chromatographic and spectroscopic tests in our DILO Lab ensure a consistently high level of quality.

Separation of C4-FN gas mixtures

When using alternative insulating gas mixtures with C4-FN, if no further use is possible or a different mixing ratio is required, or after purification and drying, recovering and then reconditioning the C4-FN gas, with a purity of 99 mol-% at DILO is the alternative solution to disposal by combustion.

The C4-FN is separated from the carrier gases and any by-products and purified in several steps. It is then used directly for new mixtures whose mixing ratios and carrier gases can be freely selected.

The processed gas mixture has a high reconditioning efficiency (> 95 %) across all mixing ratios, in order to reuse a large quantity of C4-FN/C5-FK. Each batch of reconditioned gas is examined in the laboratory and only then released for further use.
