Training and certification for persons handling SF6
Article 10 of the F-gas regulation (EU) 517/2014
According to the regulation 517/2014 on fluorinated greenhouse gases persons handling SF6 gas must be trained and certified. This shall include activities within the scope of
- Installation
- Maintenance
- Servicing
- Repair works
- Decommissioning
- Leakage testing
- Preparation
The training contents and/or minimum requirements are governed by the implementing regulation 2015/2066 [external]. Previously acquired expert knowledge certificates shall remain valid.
