That was Elecrama – Successful participation in one of the largest trade fairs for the electrical industry

Last week, one of the world's largest trade fairs for the electrical sector took place, attracting an impressive 400,000 visitors and over 1,000 exhibitors. We were also represented with a stand and were able to make numerous valuable contacts.

Our stand was extremely well attended, with around 250 trade visitors. It was particularly pleasing that all the key contacts from GIS OEMs, utility (company) and network operators were represented. The majority of visitors came from India, but customers from the Middle East and Africa also showed great interest.

This year's trade fair focused on the following key areas:

  • Make in India – promoting local production
  • SF₆ reclamation in India – sustainable solutions for handling SF₆
  • Room monitoring & Eco-Analyser – modern technologies for condition monitoring
  • Hydrogen – a promising energy source for the future

The presentation of new technologies was interesting: for the first time, the major GIS OEMs presented switchgear with alternative insulating gases. This led to numerous questions and discussions with end customers, who showed great interest in these developments.

The Super Phoenix India team was actively involved throughout the trade fair and facilitated valuable discussions.
