New Regulation (EU) 2024/573 on fluorinated greenhouse gases & its effects
The new Regulation (EU) 2024/573 on fluorinated greenhouse gases has significantly tightened the requirements for handling SF6 gas and other arc quenching and insulating gases. The aim is to further reduce emissions and ensure the safe use of modern technologies. For specialised users, this means: Existing certificates remain valid until 12 March 2029. A refresher course must have taken place by this time at the latest to extend the validity for a further 7 years. Stay up to date and fully compliant with all legal requirements – without any additional workload.

This DILO training course provides the necessary expert knowledge and the legally required qualification for the safe and environmentally friendly handling of arc quenching and insulating gases in high-voltage switchgear. Participants acquire the Europe-wide accredited certificate of competence in compliance with the new Regulation (EU) 2024/573 on fluorinated greenhouse gases.

Handling alternative arc quenching and insulating gases
DiesesThis hands-on training course provides theoretical and practical knowledge on the safe handling of alternative arc quenchingand insulating gases such as C4-FN or synthetic air. The focus is on gas mixtures, gas handling, life cycle management, gas quality and leak detection. Participants learn how to analyse and handle gases in a professional manner and ensure quality in accordance with prevailing standards.
