For us, sustainability means taking responsibility, conserving resources and developing technologies that have an ecological impact. Every ton of greenhouse gas that is released into the atmosphere pollutes our climate and threatens the future of coming generations. That is why at DILO, preventing emissions is our top priority. Our products and systems ensure that industrial gases are handled safely and returned to the cycle.

DILO success
For decades, our equipment has helped to prevent climate-damaging gases from being released into the atmosphere. But that is not our only contribution to sustainability and environmental protection: Thanks to our own photovoltaic systems, we generate an increasing share of our electricity ourselves and have already saved over 170 tons of CO₂. Even our wood waste is put to good use: It fuels our wood chip heating system, supplying environmentally friendly heat and closing the loop on sustainable energy use.
DILO goals
Our goal is clear: DILO aims to be climate-neutral by 2040. By 2030 we will reduce our emissions by 70%, based on the measured values from 2020. To achieve this, we rely on a resource-saving circular economy, continuously expand our solar capacities and store unused energy in the form of hydrogen to convert it back into energy when needed.
Sustainability is not a project for us, but part of our identity. It shapes the way we think and act.
Eco-efficient alternative to new gas
The idea behind DILO Certified Gas is very simple: Instead of producing new SF6 gas or a new alternative arc quenching and insulating gas and putting it into circulation, the used gas is simply reclaimed or mixed. DILO offers users and operators of gas-insulated applications the option of either mixing or completely reclaiming the contaminated gas.
