High Level Energy Conference Africa 2025
New Cairo, Africa, became the international meeting place for the energy industry. At the end of September, high-ranking representatives from the energy, finance and political sectors gathered at the 21st APUA Conference.
The discussions focused on topics such as:
- Financing options
- Hydrogen
- Cybersecurity of power utilities
- The impact of renewable energies on grid operators
- Expansion of the power grid in remote areas
A key topic debated by experts was the digitalisation of industries and the impact of AI (artificial intelligence) on processes and decision-making.
Harald Baier (RSM) represented DILO and was accompanied by our external consultants from E & P Focus Africa.
Nearly 200 participants took advantage of the opportunity to engage in dialogue, gain fresh insights and sharpen the international course of their companies.
The APUA Conference impressively highlighted how innovation and sustainability can be initiated in international partnerships. Africa in particular is emerging as a highly dynamic growth market that is resolutely driving forward the energy transition and the expansion of network infrastructure.
